Macka’s Australian Black Angus Beef is “Produced with Pride”. Macka’s is a family owned and operated business who have been raising Angus cattle for five generations, dating back to 1884. The journey of producing Angus started with Archie MacKenzie’s aunts running cattle on their property near Port Stephens, New South Wales. Fueled by the passion to produce the highest quality cattle, Archie took over from his aunts, eventually passing his expertise and knowledge to his son (Bruce MacKenzie) and grandson (Robert MacKenzie).

“We pride ourselves on respect for our land and cattle – an ideal that has led to the Macka’s brand becoming synonymous with quality, history and integrity”, says Bruce. Bruce and Robert manage the farm together, alongside Robert’s sons. They believe that “Happy cattle makes great beef” and are committed to offering their customers high-quality 100% verified Black Angus. Such consistent efforts and focus on world class genetics, has positioned their beef in the top 1.5% of Angus produced in Australia, as independently scored by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).
