Seafood Sustainability Tour – our first, and definitely won’t be our last!

We love seeking out and supporting producers who make the extra effort to minimise their footprint and ensure the sustainability of their operation for future generations. We know this is why many of our chefs work with us as well.

So it was wonderful to bring our vision of directly connecting producers and chefs to life in recognition of World Ocean Day with our first ever seafood sustainability tour. Hosting chefs from the Mulberry Group, we spent the day visiting our long-time producer Infinity Blue Barramundi, Jade Tiger Abalone’s operations, plus Common Ground Project’s regenerative farm. Thanks and recognition go out too to:

  • Luke Anedda from Long Jetty Seafoods for joining, bringing his wild fisher’s perspective to the group; and
  • .The Nature Conservancy Australia for their support.

We all learned an immense amount in our ‘deep dive into sustainability’, while enjoying a great day out.

Based on the wonderful feedback from all the participants, we look forward to hosting more of these events. Let us know if you want to participate in the future!
